The pavilions are located within the perimeter of the Royal Gardens of Turin and have been built in 1921 and renovated in the 1970s. The goal of the project is to realize a new entrance to the Museum of Antiquity built by Gabetti & Isola in the 1980s. The works involve all thee three existing pavilions.
The central pavilion hosts the entrance hall with the desk, the museum shop, a cafeteria a conference hall with 130 seats and two halls for events. The lateral pavilions host spaces for research and for temporary exhibition, while a new glass pavilion with green roof hosts the tables of the cafeteria and, in the basement, an open access deposit and two restauration workshops.
